Florida’s
own, Arsen Brzostek’s debut, “Jungle Juice” is
a soul-searching trek that stretches from Florida to rest in Costa
Rica’s Southern Zone. This documentary follows family and
friends of the filmmaker into an exotic sojourn in the jungle’s
wondrous canopy and comes to life on the beautiful beaches and surf
of Costa Rica. The sights and sounds of this Eden-like paradise
are augmented only by the amazing soundtrack and narrative of this
creative, young traveler. A must see for any surfer or traveling
aficionado.
Have you ever
imagined surfing a mile long wave nestled in a tropical paradise?
Jungle Juice brings home this reality. Become part of a journey
through the deepest jungles of Costa Rica in search of what your
heart and soul desires. Simplicity, natural wonders, adventure and
of course perfect surf accompanied with the camaraderie of family
and friends are paramount components of this film. This documentary
uncovers fun, perfect waves aside from the classic bone-crushing
reef breaks normally associated with surfing in the tropics.
The journey
starts in Florida where three friends pack-up their boards and baggies
and take-off for an unforgettable adventure to Costa Rica. As the
journey continues through the Southern Zone they travel to an undocumented
region to rendezvous with more friends and family. As they become
engulfed in the most bio-diverse ecosystem found on this planet
all while witnessing abounding nature shows, viewing incredible
scenery, and discovering jaw-dropping perfect waves.
Jungle Juice
offers a unique perspective of a surfing adventure through the Southern
Zone of Costa Rica. The breathtaking cinematography combined with
vibrant colors and accompanied by an original score of Texas based,
Weather Underground, provides the viewer with an intense absorption
of the sights and sounds. Jungle Juice generates a sense of stoke
and awe for the intricate beauty of the natural world. This film
provides “the Juice” that the soul craves for the surfer
seeking that perfect wave in the jungle.
